Comr. Napoleon Kenerekedi, APC youth leader of Delta State gave the charge yesterday at the Festus Keyamu’s Hall in Agric Road, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State during a crucial meeting of APC youth leaders in the state and the National APC Youth leader that had come to attend the meeting.
Speaking further, Comr. Napoleon Kenerekedi while charging the APC youth leaders from all the 25 local government areas in Delta State had maintained that the youths should not see themselves working only for the Tinubu and Omo-Agege, stressing that they should work as if their lives and political future depends on the various elections.
He continued that it has to be so because when Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, 2023 APC Presidential candidate and His Excellency, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy Senate President and Delta 2023 APC Governorship candidate and others must have won their elections, those working for the party like the youth leaders and other critical stakeholders of the party would certainly be commissioners, local government chairmen, board chairmen and what have you.
Kenerekedi reiterated that everyone must go back to their units and wards in the various local government councils of Delta State to win and bring good results for the APC.
The Delta State Youth leader asserted that the administration of PDP in Delta State over the years has brought pain and misery to the people of the state, stating that the fast approaching general elections present an opportunity for Delta youths to vote out the PDP at all levels.
However, National Youth leader of the APC, Comr. Dayo Isreal had commended the Delta State APC youth leaders for their efforts so far, stressing that there is hope that APC is taking over Delta State come 2023 general elections.
According to him, while he has brought greetings from the national leadership of the party, Comr. Dayo said the party is working hard to ensure that it wins the Presidential, various state Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives and state house of assembly elections.
He particularly hailed the Delta State APC youth leaders for their unique and sincerity of purpose, adding that he will return and brief his leaders at the national level including Tinubu in ensuring that whatever needs to be done to strengthen the Delta State APC youth leaders must be done as soon as possible either financially and otherwise to secure the needed victory in Delta State.
Nevertheless, Dayo Isreal had assured the youths that they will all benefit from the party when Tinubu, Omo-Agege and others must have won their various elections.
Meanwhile, the duo of Samuel and Elvis from Ika North and Ethiop East had all earlier called for the strengthening of the APC Youths financially to enable them work properly in mobilising youths across their various local governments before the general elections.
