As Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) tilts toward the election of new officers in Council, the trio of Comr. Ebolo Samuel, Chairman of Chairmen, IYC Western Zone, Comr. Edward Asikitams, Chairman of Chairmen, IYC Eastern Zone and Comr. Alla Teide
Chairman of Chairmen, IYC Central Zone have concluded plans to host IYC Clan Chairmen Conference in Yenagoa.

This was contained in a joint statement signed by the trio of Ebolo Samuel, Asikitams Edward and Alla Teide shortly after a brief meeting held at the Ijaw House, Yenagoa, Central Zone yesterday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

According to them, the conference will be tagged “The Unity of Ijaw Nation, a panacea for sustainable development.”

Speaking further, the statement had hinted that the conference will be holding at the Ijaw House in Yenagoa on Saturday 27th of May 2023.

The statement reads below:

Earlier today, the Clan Chairmen of all Chairmen in Ijaw Nation under the aegis of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC); Central, Eastern and Western zones met in Ijaw House to discuss issues affecting the region. It is premised on the above, they conscientiously resolved to host IYC Worldwide Clan Chairmen Conference tagged; “The Unity of Ijaw Nation, a panacea for sustainable development.”

Date: Saturday, 27th of May, 2023.
Venue: Ijaw House, Bayelsa State.
Time: 10am prompt!
