Heroic As Lawuru Enters Heroes Of Ijaw Nation Encyclopedic Book

There was massive Jubilation in Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa State on Sunday 4th of June 2023 as Niger Delta leading renowned philanthropist, High Chief Promise Lawuru, popularly known as Ozigizaga of the universe as his heroic deeds enters the Ijaw encyclopedic Book tagged ” Heroes of Ijaw Nation “. However, in a powerful delegation led by Gesikeme Akparakata, author of the book Heroes of Ijaw Nation and President of HINREC ( Heroes of Ijaw Nation Research Centre), the author took his time to explain that compiling heroes across Ijaw Nation is such an herculean task, noting that his team has been researching on the subject matter for many years now.
Author Gesikeme Akparakata asserted that the many sacrifices done by High Chief Promise Lawuru in defence of Ijaw Nation and for humanity in general over the years stands him out to be recorded as an Hero in Ijaw Nation.
Speaking further, President of Heroes of Ijaw Nation Research Centre, (HINREC), Gesikeme Akparakata also lauded Chief Promise Lawuru for his many sacrifices in Ijaw Nation, stating that the Ijaws are blessed to have Lawuru.
While presenting the highly voluminous historic book to Chief Promise Lawuru at the Famous Doncont Hotels & Suites in Yenagoa, Gesikeme Akparakata maintained that documenting Ijaw Heroes in such manner is a sure way of preserving Ijaw history and personalities in its own right.
In a sharp reaction, Ozigizaga had lauded Gesikeme Akparakata and his team of researchers for the great work, adding that he never expected that his good deeds and core love in defence of Ijaw Nation could make him to be recorded as an Hero in Ijaw Nation.
Nevertheless, Lawuru continued that he will cherish the book and will continue to owe the book, the author and the team of Ijaw researchers in high esteem, adding that the book will be dear and precious to him.
Meanwhile, Chief Promise had assured the author of his financial support to aid them in printing more copies of the book, stressing that he will not relent in his quest for a better Ijaw Nation.
It was learnt that the book recognizes the likes of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo as a hero in Ijaw Nation.
Others include Hon. Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, Barr. (Dcn) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Alhaji Asari Dokubo, Chief Timipre Sylva, His Royal Majesty, Justice F. F. Tabai and so many others too numerous to mention as heroes.
