PRESS STATEMENT
This is to notify the general public, especially my constituents that the inauguration party earlier scheduled for tomorrow has been officially called off.
This is to honour the memories of those who lost their lives in the ill fated fatal accident involving members of the Barrister Smooth Musical band.
Barrister Smooth has been a very close friend and ally and I am personally close to virtually every member of his musical band, hence I am poised to call it off as a mark of respect for my fallen friends whose melodious voices resonances in my ears till this minute.
This unfortunate incident marks a sad and grieving moment for me, my political family and the entire Ijaw nation; I pray God to grant Barrister Smooth, members of his musical organization, families of the deceased, fans of the barrister Smooth musical organization, and the entire ijaw nation the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss of our dearly beloved ones.
I also pray for the quick recovery of my friend, Mr. Ebisine Awiki and others who survived the accident.
