Niger Delta revered philanthropist and a critical stakeholder in the region, High Chief Promise Lawuru have expressed optimism that the Bola Tinubu Presidency will address the age long underdevelopmental issues bedeviling the Niger Delta region. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

Chief Promise Lawuru, popularly known as Ozigizaga made the remark yesterday in Abuja while playing host to some Niger Delta Youth leaders.

According to him, President Bola Tinubu is a tested and trusted leader with a proven track record as a man that is result oriented and have positioned himself as an epitom of development.

However, according to him, while the Bola Tinubu Presidency has just started, he said President Tinubu is well aware of the multifaceted challenges that are bedeviling the Ijaw nation and Niger Delta at large.

Part of the best ways to develop the Niger Delta region according to Chief Promise Lawuru is to appoint Ijaw sons and daughters and Niger Deltans who truly understands the struggle into offices, adding that with such persons in juicy offices, they will no doubt work on the Niger Delta developmental blueprint.

Nevertheless, Ozigizaga of the universe had also called on Niger Delta leaders to be more united in the quest for the development of Ijaw Nation and the Niger Delta region in general, stressing that with unity, so much can be achieved.

Meanwhile, Lawuru asserted that the Niger Delta region despite their economic viability in the Nigerian State is no doubt the most backward region in terms of Infrastructural development and what have you, stating that he is hopeful that Tinubu will change the story for good.
