Don’t divide IYC for selfish ambition, Ebis Moni warns

Ijaw youth leader and pioneer chairman of Meinbutu, Comrade Ebis has warned Ijaw youths who for selfish reasons trying to undermine duly elected body by running a parallel IYC body to desist, thereby making the world to feel that Ijaw youths are divided

Moni dropped this during an exclusive phone chat with Daily Watch in Warri, said,

” We the founding leaders of Ijaw youths council( IYC) will not sit and fold our hands again for some self-centered Ijaw youths to divide the sacred IYC organization a divided house. We have done so many things to protect the image of IYC. We faced bullets from soldiers during the military era all to save Ijaw nation. But today, You heard the Kaiama declaration? In those days, IYC was the only armed organization of Ijaw people, IYC is a strong pressure group of the Ijaw nation.

We will not accept a dissident group trying to rubbish the Ijaw nation”” he said
