Blackmails Won’t Work Against Tompolo, Otuaro, IYC Spokesman Reply Critics

Spokesman of the highly revered Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill has tackled critics of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpomupolo, alias Tompolo and Chief Dennis Otuaro PhD, Administrator Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) to allow the duo concentrate on developing the Niger Delta region through the sustenance of peace. Binebai Princewill gave the warning yesterday while reacting to newsmen on the recent outburst against Otuaro and Niger Delta generalissimo, High Chief (Dr) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo.
Amb. Yerin who is the Spokesman of Ijaw Youth Council had advised Ijaw Youths to stop the pull him down syndrome, stressing that some actions exhibited against Ijaw leaders are sometimes very petty and shameless.
Considering the decades of sacrifices made by Tompolo in sustaining peace and stability in Nigeria, Binebai stressed that any move to frame Tompolo up will hit the brickwall as he is one of the purest we have in Nigeria, Niger Delta and Ijaw.
While the IYC is using this medium to call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to completely disregard gang ups against Otuaro, noted that those ganging up against Otuaro are those that never meant well for the Amnesty Programme, stressing that Otuaro is bringing back the lost glory of PAP hence enemies of the region are now trying to distract Otuaro as they are jittery over his rising profile in PAP.
It is very important to note that since the establishment of the Amnesty Programme in 2009, this is the first time that a Deltan is occupying the office and his few months in the office has even outweighed most administrators in their entire years in the office.
The IYC Worldwide is solidly behind Otuaro for he is doing a lot towards peace building and human capacity development in the Niger Delta region and Nigeria at large.
The IYC Spokesman had particularly appealed to Dr. Tompolo and Otuaro not to be distracted by their detractors, adding that the Ijaw people are fully with them as they continue to do their part in the Development of Niger Delta and Ijaw nation.
