DESOPADEC: Ogulagha youths congratulates Agediga, hails Okowa
The youth leadership of Ogulagha community in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State has added their voice to congratulate Amb. Shedrack Agediga on his appointment as Executive Director, ED to the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC.
This was made known to newsmen in Warri via a statement signed by Mr. Okilo A. Waterwei, youth president, Ogulagha community, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
The Ogulagha community youth president, Mr. Waterwei had particularly described the appointment of Agediga as a welcome development and news of the year.
Okilo while speaking on behalf of the entire youths of Ogulagha community had lauded His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for appointing an illustrious son of the oil rich Ogulagha kingdom in Burutu Local Government into such important office.
The president had further commended Governor Okowa for the 20.29km road network in Ogulagha kingdom, stressing that such will continue to remain indelible in the lives of the Ogulagha people.
“On behalf of the entire youths of Ogulagha community, I wish to congratulate and celebrate with our Elder brother Comr. Shedrack Agediga on his well deserved appointment.
“Comr. Shedrack Agediga who has served in different capacities as one time president General Ogulagha kingdom youths council ( OKYC ), SA to Governor Okowa as peace and conflict resolution and also the Chairman and CEO of the Shedrack Agediga foundation ( SAF ) will deliver his best on his new appointment into the board of DESOPADEC.
“I want to use this medium to also thank his Excellency, the executive Governor of Delta state, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for his Developmental strides in Ogulagha kingdom. The 20.29 km Obototo 1 – Obototo 11 – Sokebolou – yokiri road and other internal roads in Ogulagha kingdom and also finding it worthy to appoint sons of Ogulagha kingdom in his first and second tenure.” President Waterwei had stated .
