Former Niger Delta agitators, the duo of Gen. Jenny Ekisah, member Delta State Waterways/Land Security Committee and Gen. Ebi Lagos, popularly known as the Niger Delta Jargaban and Chairman “1 Million Man” have congratulated the Managing Director, Chief (Engr) Kestin Pondi, (MD) Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited over the award of the Ogbanabou Marginal Field License by the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
The congratulatory message was contained in a joint press statement signed by the duo of Gen. Ekisah Jenny and Gen. Ebi Lagos, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide earlier today.
Ebi Lagos and Jenny Ekisah had asserted that the news of the Ogbanabou Marginal Field License awarded to Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited by the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) came at the right time.
However, while commending Kestin Pondi for his resilience so far, the duo had described the revered Niger Delta Chief as a man worthy of emulation for all those that wish for a better society.
They continued that Chief Kestin Pondi is a tested and trusted leader that have over the years used his personal resources in transforming the lives of many across the country, adding that he has contributed a lot for the Niger Delta struggle for resource control and self determination, noting that the award is a well deserved one.
Meanwhile, the duo had also appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari, Chief Timipre Sylva, Minister for Petroleum State and others for awarding the license to Kalm Marine and Petroleum Services Limited, stressing that the Ogbanabou Marginal Field is in a safe hand.
