Delta South PDP Chairman Takeme Congratulates Sheriff On Appeal Court Victory
The Peoples Democratic Party in Delta South has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, embattled candidate of the Delta 2023 PDP Governorship candidate.
The congratulatory message was contained in a message forwarded to newsmen in Warri few hours ago, signed by Chief Dr. Julius Takeme, Chairman of the Delta South PDP, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
Dr. Takeme had described the appeal court judgement as interesting and a sign of good omen for the PDP family and Delta State at large.
However, the Delta South PDP Chairman had admonished litigants within the party to close ranks and to work in ensuring that the party remains united ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Speaking further, Chief Julius maintained that the appeal court judgement delivered today indicates that God is truly behind Oborevwori.
Meanwhile, Takeme while speaking on the personality of Oborevwori noted that Delta will be safe with Sheriff after His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State and 2023 vice presidential candidate of PDP must have relinguished power, stressing that Rt. Hon Sheriff should be given the chance to succeed Okowa for consolidation.
