Former IYC President Oweilaemi Congratulates Tompolo On Surveillance Contract
Former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Barr. Roland Oweilaemi Pereotubo has added his voice to that of other good spirited Niger Deltans in congratulating High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo on his pipeline security surveillance contract awarded to him by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
This was contained in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri recently, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
According to the former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Barr. Oweilaemi noted that he sees the security contract awarded to Tompolo by the Federal Government of Nigeria as an implementation of one of the 16- point demands of PANDEF, stressing that the Federal Government of Nigeria has done the right thing by awarding the contract to Tompolo who is allegedly an expert in maritime security.

The immediate past President of the Ijaw Youth Council, Pereotubo Roland Oweilaemi, Esq has congratulated High Chief Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo for successfully securing oil pipeline surveilance contract from the NNPC Limited. Tompolo who understands the Niger Delta terrain as a son of the soil is the rightful person to execute the oil pipeline security job. He has done it before where the government benefited immensely.
I commend President Muhammadu Buhari for re-awarding this contract to Tompolo. Indeed, Mr. President has just implemented one of the PANDEF’s 16 point demands.
I appeal to dissident elements, protesting against the contract to look beyond ethno-religious sentiment in the implementation of the Government’s policy trust.
Now that Nigeria is loosing daily outputs of our production quotas which is far below OPEC quota, the Federal Government needs an expert in maritime security like Tompolo to nip the leakages in the bud for us to have an increased daily outputs.
