2023: Chairman Takeme Meet Delta South PDP Ward Chairmen Forum, Address Grievances
By Binebai Princewill The Chairman of Delta South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Dr. Julius Takeme on Friday met with the leadership of Delta South PDP Ward Chairmen Forum in Warri to address their grievances ahead of the campaigns and 2023 general elections. Chief Dr. Julius Takeme had in the meeting today held at the Delta South PDP Senatorial office, Okere in Warri South Local Government Area noted that unity and working for the dominance of the party come 2023 should be what every stakeholder of the party be working on.
While addressing the ward PDP Chairmen in Delta South, Takeme noted that he feels the pain of the ward chairmen, adding that party business has always been service before reward, noting that this is the time to really work hard to deliver the party and to sustain its dominance in Delta South come 2023.

owever, Chief Julius Takeme has passionately appealed to the ward chairmen to be patient with the leadership of the party as the party is working hard to ensure that all structures are carried along and fully mobilised.

peaking further, Takeme had assured the ward chairmen that he will carry their issues to the Governor and the leadership of the party for urgent action.

I have been doing it hence I will do it again.
“I am very optimistic that come 2023, when Oborevwori wins, the PDP Government will benefit all its members. This is the time God has ordained for everyone to enjoy. Let us please drop our grievances.
“We have about 87 wards in Delta South Senatorial District, the wards are very closer to the people hence we cannot joke with the ward leadership of the party. They are very critical and influential.“Delta South Ward to ward campaign will begin on Monday 14th of November 2022. We are preparing and putting our house in order. ” Takeme added.
Nevertheless, in an interview shortly after the meeting, speaking on behalf of the PDP Delta South Forum of Chairmen, Mr. Lawrence Akpoveso, Chairman PDP Okumagba II (Two ) Ward 12 and Financial Secretary of Delta South Forum of PDP Chairmen lauded Dr. Takeme’s leadership, stressing that he has once again shown capacity.
Mr. Lawrence noted that while they are hopeful that leaders of the party will look into their plight, they will no doubt work for the dominance of the party come 2023 general elections.
According to him, they all belong to the party hence they must work for the party, stressing that while everyone is Sheriffied, they will ensure that all candidates of the party are delivered.
On his part: “We appreciate our amiable Delta South PDP Chairman, Dr. Julius Takeme for wading into the matter, we will take the message to the larger house.
“We will work, we will also watch, we respect you and we will be expecting your feedback. You have proven your rare leadership capacity once again. ” Prophet Preye Koremene stated.
Meanwhile, The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide have learnt that the PDP ward chairmen are angry that while they have been working and shouldering a lot of responsibilities in their various wards, the financial gains they are having is not commensurate hence their grievances.
