Former leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo have recently averted a looming crises between SPDC and 12 EA host communities in Bayelsa state.
The host communities have mobilized their members recently to halt SPDC operations in the EA field in Bayelsa over varying degrees of demands from the communities for which the company has failed to allegedly address.
However, upon moving to halt SPDC operations, Niger Delta revered leader, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo intervened and the looming crises has been put on hold pending discussions between Tompolo, SPDC and EA 12 host communities.
A message made available to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide yesterday by the EA host communities read below:
Good News to EA 12 HOST COMMUNITIES;
On behalf of the good people of the EA 12 HOST COMMUNITIES, We the CDC Chairmen Forum, Youth Presidents, Women leaders, Chief’s etc, wish to inform SPDC and it’s Allied Companies, the Bayelsa State Government, Security Agencies and the general public that the looming problem between SPDC and the EA COMMUNITIES has been averted by High Chief, Government Ekpemepolo Oweizidei (AKA,TOMPOLO. GOC), The CEO, of TANTITA SECURITY SERVICES and other stakeholders of EA COMMUNITIES.
Therefore, we employ SPDC and it’s Allied Companies to commence full operations in the EA Field without fear of any form while TOMPOLO will passionately engage SPDCs top officials and the EA 12 HOST COMMUNITIES to fully address critical issues highlighted in the demands of the EA COMMUNITIES urgently.
