The Need To Promote Our Community Cultural Festivals

Besides being fun, well-managed festivals and events offer a host of economic and social benefits to communities. The benefits are similar to those for tourism, in general.
The Isaba kingdom’s festivals have become a good platform to build lasting relationships, just as the benefits of these relationships would last well beyond the events.
The promotion of our local cultural festivals will go a long way in building social connections among the people, resulting in fostering collective knowledge and skills to improve the community.
Social connections are the “glue” that hold communities together. Therefore without them, a community stagnates and the quality of life declines.
It is against this background that I like to use this medium to call on all well meaning sons and daughters of Isaba kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area to be involved in the promotion of our rich cultural heritage with a view to increasing the social capital that brings healthy community development.
