Delta Ijaw Comrade Community Congratulates New Leadership Of Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council

Umbrella body covering all Ijaw Human Rights Activists in Delta State on Monday congratulated the new leadership of Ogulagha Kingdom youth council (OKYC).

The congratulatory message was personally signed by Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill on behalfofthe group, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide yesterday.

The President of Delta Ijaw Comrade Community, Amb. Binebai Princewill had particularly lauded the people of Ogulagha Kingdom for the peaceful transition, stressing that DICC is proud of them.

However, the Delta Ijaw Comrade Community have expressed optimism that the new OKYC led by Comr. Roland Dede will no doubt work for the progress of the Kingdom and Ijaw nation at large, stressing that Dede Roland is a strong hand, tested and trusted youth leader in the system.

According to Princewill, the antecedents of Dede in Ogulagha Kingdom over the years speak volumes about him, adding that OKYC is in capable hands.

However, DICC had noted that Comr. Welemu Jnr, alias Agbobudila, a highly respected former President of DICC is also now the Publicity Secretary of OKYC, stressing that the group will look for common grounds to collaborate with OKYC for the common good of the people whenever the need arises.

While speaking highly of Welemu, the Publicity Secretary of OKYC, Binebai noted that the choice of Welemu as Publicity Secretary of OKYC at this point in time is something that is worth celebrating as he is the perfect man for the job.

“Welemu Williams Jnr is the perfect man for the job, he is mature and ripe enough. DICC is truly proud of him. We know him very well that he will dispense his intellectual ability in advancing the kingdom to the admiration of all.

“He is known for always delivered, he will i intellectually article the many developmental woes confronting the Kingdom.

“Once again congratulations” Statement added.
