2023 Presidency: 10 Niger Delta Militant Groups Reject Tinubu, State Reasons
With just five days to the 2023 Presidential elections, Niger Delta most dreaded militant groups, The Reformed Niger Delta Avengers, RNDA, and other nine militant groups, Monday, declared total rejection of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Niger Delta region over alleged ‘Tinubu’s sins’. That lead to total neglect and abandonment of Projects initiated by Former President Goodluck Jonathan PDP Administration in the region, without any further federal government presence of project in the last 7 and half years of the president Muhammadu Buhari APC administration.
The declaration by the leadership of RNDA, was contained in a statement signed by its General Commanding Officer, GOC, ‘Major General’ Johnmark Ezon-Ebi (aka Obama).
According to the statement, the sins of Tinubu were listed after the leadership of RNDA with its nine other militant groups held an emergency crucial meeting in the deep creeks of Delta State, which was conveyed by RNDA’s GCO Obama, which had in attendance the leaders of nine other militant groups that make up the RNDA.
The statement reads in part, “The leadership of the dreaded RNDA Militant group with the coalition of its nine groups that are agitating for the overall development of the neglected and impoverished people of the Niger Delta region, has risen up to the occasion to open up why the people of the region and Nigerians should not in any way cast their vote for the All Progressives Congress, APC, and its presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and we declare total rejection of APC and Tinubu across the length and breadth of the entire Niger Delta region.
“Recall that the Reformed Niger Delta Avengers with its nine militant groups had a ceasefire agreement deal on the heels of a dialogue process that brought about peace talk between traditional rulers elders and youth groups and other stakeholders from the region.
“In the year 2016 to 2017 there about, and in that peace talk process the former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr Ibe Kachikwu and the former Minister of Youth and Sport, Solomon Dalong, came to the creek on behalf of Mr President and the Federal Government to meet with us in order to iron out the gray areas of discussion, and to table the demands of our people in the region, and the need for us to accept a ceasefire agreement and allow peace talk process to take place in the interest of peace and development to thrive because in the absence of peace there is no way development could take place.
“And to enable us to assess the level of the region underdevelopment, deprivation, neglect, massive unemployment, poor presence of the federal government, and abandoned projects in the creeks of the Niger Delta initiated under Jonathan-led PDP administration, and how our people has been denied of faire share to be given oil processing licence in the nation oil sector, and other issues left undone for the past seven years. And this is the right time for us as a people and a region that lay the golden egg to take a drastic decision and decide our faith’, and identify with who’s of the above Political parties and their Presidential candidate that the region should alien with and throw their weight behind, The party and it’s candidate that will value us and will bring genuine Development to the region, we therefore declare full support for the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji ATIKU ABUBAKA and it’s vice presidential candidate the Gov of Delta state, SEN DR IFEANYI OKOWA, Are the prefferred choice of Candidate for the region because we find them trust worthy among all of them.
We have critically accessed and seen with clear evidence that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the root cause of our predicament in the Niger Delta region in the last 7 and half years, because according to him, he was the brain behind the formation of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari and it’s subsequent winning to cut short our son former president Goodluck Jonathan 2015 second term.
In the last seven years the horror that Tinubu brought to befall us is best described as a death trap of maladministration, and by his selfish hidden agenda of becoming a southern President after Buhari second term, for this action, we declared he is an enemy to the people of our region and his sins can not be ruled out just like that, and by extension the entire Nigeria.
These are some of Tinubu’s sins amongst many;
1. Bola Ahmed Tinubu boasted he was the one who single handedly brought this Government to be and made President Muhammadu Buhari to emerge winner of the 2015 presidential election in 2015 to cut short our son former president Goodluck Jonathan led PDP Administration of second term to an end, and he openly claimed, and we have seen that he was the arrow-head of why the Niger Delta people have been neglected for standing with their son against Buhari during the 2015 presidential election, hence our region is placed impoverished neglected and backward.
2. Bola Ahmed Tinubu for no cause in 2012, mobilized Nigerians against the removal of petrol subsidy by former President Goodluck Jonathan, and was part of those who made the Nigeria ungovernable for Jonathan by using all kinds of means to spite Jonathan despite his effort to make the economy grow, and his hate for Jonathan was very clear and unhidden by his words of actions in action.
3. Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the one who sponsored the Nigerian Labour Congress NLC, Trade Union Congress TUC, and others against former President Jonathan’s PDP led government with his bullion vans and in order to influence the National Assembly to invoke a section of the constitution that would declare Jonathan unfit and incapable to control civil unrest that was orchestrated by Tinubu.
4. Tinubu was the person who played a dirty and devilish politics by using his money to mobilize his likes fellows who do not mean well for Nigerians because he feels no minority can rule this country, which at the time was Former President Goodluck Jonathan, which he single handedly sponsored a group called Save Nigeria Group led by Malam Nasir El- Rufai, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Prof Wole Soyinka, Lai Mohamed, John Odigie Oyegun, Bar Femi Fala, SAN and others, along with NLC and TUC, a section of Nigeria Bar Association NBA, leaders to bring down Jonathan’s government by all means with the slogan ‘Operation Occupy Nigeria’. The reason for this act of treason called ‘Operation Occupy Nigeria’ was because he Jonathan was a minority from the south south, and Jonathan-led administration increased pump price of petrol from just N65 to N85 per liter, and other for the removal of subsidy from petrol, but today under the Buhar-led APC government that TINUBU brought as he claimed how much is the fuel sale at the pump price? And where is the subsidy that they promised to remove? The fuel pump price is now 200, 300 to 500 naira a liter.
5. Tinubu who vehemently against removal of subsidy on Petrol by the then Jonathan-led administration, is now the real beneficiary of subsidy and not Nigerians because he and his APC government have for the past 7 and half years impoverished and eaten Nigerians to dry with astronomical amounts of Naira spent on subsidy. by the Statement of the GMD NNPC, the APC Government spent 250bn to 270bn and now 400bn monthly for subsidy, and we want to ask why is TINUBU El Rufai Lai Mohamed Odigie Oyegun Pastor Tunde Bakare, Prof Wole Soyinka, Prof Pat Utomi Bar Femi Falana, SAN and others are no longer Organize protest against this Government again? Nigerians are now at the mercy of Tinubu, the number one cabal and the sole beneficiary of the Buhari-led APC administration. And where is the Save Nigeria Group and it’s Organizers?
6. Tinubu was part of the Buhari-led administration that abandoned the over $16 billion Ogidigben Export Processing Zone, EPZ, project which former President Goodluck Jonathan did for the groundbreaking ceremony in 2014, at Escravos, under Warri South West local government area of Delta state, a project that would have created over 150 thousand direct and indirect jobs for our youths in the region, that was a project of unifying factor between the Ijaws in Gbaramatu kingdom and it’s neighbor tribe the Itsekiris living in the riverine communities in the creek of Delta.
7. The Tinubu APC government also abandoned the Gas City Project in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State. And also neglected and abadoned the Laudable Gbaramatu Deep Sea Port Project and Gbaramatu NIMASA Dockyard Floating project started by the Jonathan-led PDP government. TINUBU were are all this laudable magnificent Projects that Goodluck Jonathan brought for our people in the region?
8. This Tinubu making himself a saint and savior that wants to rescue Nigeria is a man with a dark heart that does not mean well for the country, and if we may ask, who was behind the killing of young Nigerians at Lekki Tollgate during the EndSars protest in Lagos, 2021? because he owns the tollgate. Today, the families of the deceased are reeling in the painful loss of their sons and daughters whose bodies were taken away. Till now, no justice for the families.
9. Tinubu has opposed the actualization of true federalism and restructuring which he did openly by opposing the National Confab that former President Jonathan PDP led Administration constituted because of his hatred for the progress of Nigeria and Nigerians he opposed it and never supported it and that Laudable report of the Confab could not see the light of the day under this draconian inhuman people’s dehumanizing Political party APC Government.
10. He is a man that hurts and never forgives and his hate for Niger Deltans is beyond reasonable doubts, and we may asked how many sea ports in the Niger Delta region did TINUBU encouraged to function rather he stood against and prevail in all previous federal governments not to allow other sea ports to function since from 1999 till date due to his selfish reasons of greed.
11. Where is the Gelegele Sea Port Project that former President Goodluck Jonathan government of PDP, approved for the Binis? off wish in 2010/2011 budget former president Goodluck Jonathan have already approved the establishment and kick starting process of the Gelegele Sea Port at the federal executive council in that year, RNDA Militant Group is asking Tinubu and Adams Oshiomohle and there APC Party, where is the Gelegele Sea Port in Edo state now?
12. Where is the NIMASA School of Science And Technical College, Okoloba, situated in Okoloba Community under Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta state, which was approved by former President Goodluck Jonathan PDP Administration approved?
13. Tinubu, where is the proposed Agge Deep Sea Port in Agge Community under Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State that former President Goodluck Jonathan federal government of PDP approved?
14. Tinubu must be asked of the Ibaka Deep Sea Port in Akwa Ibom State.
15. Tinubu, where is the approved Olokola Deep Sea Port in Ondo State under Jonathan’s administration?
Lastly why are the nation 4 refineries in the country are no longer functioning and they are in comatose since TINUBU and his APC led federal government took over power since 2015? And we should remind TINUBU and his APC party that all the 4 refineries were functioning under PDP led Administration before TINUBU brought APC.
In conclusion,the leadership of the REFORMED NIGER DELTA AVENGERS with the other nine Militant groups unequivocally state here that Tinubu and his APC are not for the betterment of Nigeria and Nigerians with this track record of evil, oppression inhuman and insincere party called APC that dose not have any single feelings of what the ordinary Nigerians are passing through is never there concern at all.
“It is time for all of us to come together and vote out APC and Tinubu come 25th of February 2023. And therefore we hereby declare total rejection to TINUBU and his APC draconian party in the entire Niger Delta region and we urge fellow Nigerians to gather courage to reject TINUBU AND his APC party at the poll come on Saturday 25th February 2023. And say yes to ATIKU & OKOWA rescue mission in other to liberate and bring Nigerians out of this shackles of poorvety and economic hardship that TINUBU and APC brought upon us.
“And the RNDA Militant group urge all sons and daughters of Niger Delta with all well-meaning Nigerians to support Atiku and Okowa of the PDP, vote for them massively on 25th of February 2023, because they are the answers to our prayers and agitation for a better Nigeria, true federalism, devolution of power to the state and local governments is key.
“They will change the narrative Nigerians are facing right now, and rescue us from the shackles and chains of the APC maladministration all these years.
