Former IYC President Oweilaemi Congratulates Governor Oborevwori On Inauguration 

Highly revered former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC ) Worldwide, Barr. Pereotubo Roland Oweilaemi has congratulated His Excellency, Hon. (Chief) Francis Sheriff Oborevwori on his inauguration as Governor of Delta State.

The former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) who is a leader and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Asaba yesterday shortly after the inauguration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor of Delta State, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

It would be recalled that Barr. Roland Pereotubo Oweilaemi battled seriously and contributed a lot in ensuring that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wins in his ward and entire Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

However, Oweilaemi had described the inauguration of Governor Oborevwori as the will of God and the beauty of democracy, stressing that Oborevwori is truly destined to rule Delta State as Governor.

“I have no iota of doubt in me that His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as a tested and trusted leader will rule Delta State to the admiration of all.

“It is my prayer that the Lord Almighty shall continue to give you the much needed knowledge and wisdom to pilot the affairs of Delta State to the promised land “. Oweilaemi added.

The former IYC President had enjoined Deltans to embrace Governor Sheriff Oborevwori by giving him the needed support for him to succeed, adding that the emergence of Oborevwori as Governor of Delta State has been destined long ago by the Almighty God.

Speaking further, the PDP stalwart had assured Governor Oborevwori that he will continue to mobilize his political family across Burutu Local Government Area and in the Delta South Senatorial District to support programmes and activities of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori In the state.

A look into Barr. Pereotubo Roland Oweilaemi’s leadership reveals that he is a former Youth President of Torugbene Community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

He later became the President of National Union of Izon-Ebe Students (NUIS) Worldwide, he has previously handled the
-National Union Of Bayelsa State Students as President.

Nevertheless, Barr. Pereotubo Roland Oweilaemi is a former Secretary of Burutu Local Government Council, former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, in the just concluded Okowa’s administration, Oweilaemi served as SSA.
