Niger Delta Prominent Chief Lawuru Resolve Differences Between Ekanpou, Edumogiren
Mr Ekanpou Enewaridideke, a writer/freelance journalist and former Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on Political Matters from Ayakoromo town, and Mr Desmond Edumogiren the Community Liasion Officer(CLO) on the Ayakoromo bridge, have resolved their differences through the intervention of Chief Promise Lawuru.
Mr Ekanpou Enewaridideke the author of the novel, SPIKED BEYOND SPIKES, and the winner of Isidore Okpewho Prize for Literature in 2004, was arrested by police from the Area Command, Ovwian,on the first of July 2023 over his article entitled ‘BARKING ON BEHALF OF THE AGGRIEVED FOR OBOREVWORI’S ATTENTION concerning Mr Desmond Edumogiren and the Ayakoromo bridge.
The Police arrested him on the authority of Mr Desmond Edumogiren .Chief Promise Lawuru intervened in the matter quickly and brokered peace between the two.
Let the public note that the matter between Mr Ekanpou Enewaridideke and Mr Desmond Edumogiren has been amicably resolved by Chief Promise Lawuru.
