Anthony Oki, former Assistant Secretary of Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) Worldwide, has congratulated Mr Daniel Alabrah on his reappointment as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency Senator Douye Diri.

In a statement, Oki expressed admiration for Mr Daniel Alabrah, a remarkable leader and seasoned journalist. Alabrah s extensive experience includes working with reputable national news organizations such as the Daily Independent, where he held positions as a former production editor, regional editor and news editor.

Additionally, he served as the former deputy editor of the Sun newspaper and was the head of media and communication for the Presidential Amnesty Program (PAP). Notably, Alabrah also served as the Special Adviser on public affairs to the former Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Seriake Dickson. His reappointment as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) has changed the fortunes and narrative of Bayelsa State for good.

The statement lauded Alabrah for his outstanding contributions to the growth and development in the industry in particular and of our dear state as a whole, describing Alabrah as a very reliable, humble and hardworking individual which has led to his well deserved reappointment.

Alabrah has work so hard on himself and created the necessary advantage to convince others of his potential and abilities which has not only elevated the image of the prosperity Government but also resonated on an international scale.

We urge him to put in the very best in the discharge of his responsibilities and continue in the stride of his achievement’s and indeed redouble his efforts towards leaving footprints in the sands of time. As the saying goes, “To whom much is given, much is Expected.”

Oki thanked the Miracle Governor for reappointing a veteran journalist. Alabrah’s continued service stands as a powerful testament to divine grace and the unwavering trust placed in him by Mr Governor.
