General Freedom Binaebi Adowei, a renowned Niger Delta Freedom fighter, Egbesu Priest and Chairman of Egbesu Generals in the Niger Delta region have fulfilled all traditional obligations by marrying his heartbeat, Anita Popo Adowei yesterday.

The highly classical marriage has been described as one of the best marriage so far in the entire Niger Delta region.
The decoration, the adorable dress code of elegant Ijaw ladies from Ogulagha, Gbaramtu and Iduwini Kingdoms and the magnificent dance steps from these Ijaw ladies is truly a sight to behold.

However, Adowei and his beautiful wife began the day yesterday with the payment of dowry at Ekete Waterside in Udu, Udu Local government area of Delta State.

At the venue of dowry payment to the Popo family, two striving Ijaw musicians, Chief Kingsley Takemebo and Prince Smally Okpe were on ground to thrill dignitaries at Udu Road, a situation Ijaw entertainment pundits described as magnificent.

Nevertheless, shortly after the dowry payment, the crowd in convoy had move to the reception at Delta Careers College Field along Airport Road for a final showdown of the day.

The story of how uncountable dignitaries across the Niger Delta region filed out in their numbers to grace the reception with their different colourful dressing is surely something that will be remembered for good in Warri as the two most ranked and rated Ijaw musicians thrill dignitaries to maximum satisfaction, King Pereama Freetown (JP ), Numupere II of Izon-ebe and Barrister S. Smooth, South South music King.

Meanwhile, commentators had described the marriage ceremony as a carnival.
