How Bebenimibo Foundation Stormed More Riverine Schools In Delta To Continue Street To School Exercise

A wave making Nigerian based Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF) on Wednesday continued its three days street to school programme among primary and secondary school students in the Delta State riverine communities.
According to founder/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the foundation, Comr. Ernest Bebenimibo who led members of the foundation to the Delta riverine communities yesterday hinted The Liberator Newspapers in an interview during the exercise noted that about eight (8) schools in different communities where visited to distribute varying degrees of educational materials to the students.
The schools visited according to Comr. Ernest Bebenimibo include TORUYOR PRIMARY SCHOOL,OPUEDE-BUBOR; EGOGO PRIMARY SCHOOL,IJALAGHA TOWN; BIG BRAIN SCHOOL,AZAMA TOWN; KUNPA PRIMARY SCHOOL,UBANFA TOWN; OGEH PRIMARY SCHOOL,KUNUKUNUAMA TOWN; JIE JIE PRIMARY SCHOOL,KURUTIE TOWN; DAUGEREGHA PRIMARY SCHOOL,IGOBA TOWN; OWEIJIBIRI PRIMARY SCHOOL,KANTU TOWN in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
Speaking further, Ernest Bebenimibo noted that the items distributed to the students in the different schools include thousands of school bags, thousands of notebooks, thousands of writing materials, several mathematical sets and other vital materials to the students supervised by teachers in the various schools.
Bebenimibo explained that the initiative to return 7000 kids and teenagers back to school was occasioned by the level of evil metted out on the people by the novel coronavirus, stressing that the virus may have been waning out but the people still grapples with the harsh economic realities.
He particularly stated that his initiative was purely to assist parents and pupils who may have find it difficult to return back to school after the virus, stressing that he is happy to see that he could use his foundation, EBF to put smiles on the faces of people.
In carrying out what he described as another core mandate of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF), the founder maintained that his team also presented several wrappers to the aged in the various communities visited during the street to school programme yesterday.
In his observation, Bebenimibo said almost all the schools visited so far lacks enough teachers and conducive learning environment.
He also noted that several students lacks school uniforms, sandals and other things as students, stressing that he can’t do it alone.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ernest Bebenimibo had called on the Delta State Government to deploy more teachers to the area and provision of a conducive learning environment for the students, adding that relevant agencies, critical stakeholders and good spirited Nigerians should do their best in alleviating the sufferings of the students.
It would be recalled that the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation had earlier on Tuesday visited Gbaraun Grammar School, Oporoza; Fiyewei Primary School, Oporoza and Okpele-ama/Tebujor primary school all in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State to distribute dozens of notebooks, writing materials, school bags, mathematical sets among other vital things that where distributed to the students to enable them go back to school without any hiccup.
The Liberator Newspapers can report that today Thursday 5th of November 2020 will mark the last the day of the foundation’s three days street to school programme.
Ernest also commended teachers of the various schools that were on ground for the visit, stressing that the foundation owe them in high esteem.
Nevertheless, some of the students who reacted to the kind gesture of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation had appreciated the foundation for reaching out to them at the point of their needs, praying that the Lord Almighty shall continue to elevate and bless Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation more and more, adding that they must work hard academically to make Ernest Bebenimibo and all members of the foundation proud with positive academic exploits.
